Job Description:

• Promote the mission of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools
• Supervise and assist students in the study center with tutoring, study skills, organization, and oral testing
• Collaborate with the academic services coordinator and teachers to utilize resources, monitor progress, and maintain records
• Communicate regularly with staff, parents, and administration to address student needs and share updates
• Help maintain an organized study center and assist in classrooms or with other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent
• Some post higher training in education preferred
• Works well with children
• Knowledge and comfort level verbal and math skills up through middle school
• Basic competency in computer skills
• Resourceful & creative to proved adaptations for students
• Self-starter
• High energy
• Ability to adjust to daily changes in task schedule
• Adapts well to a variety of tasks
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Problem-solving and decision making ability
• Team player
